Hajjah: Mass exodus of residents of ”Al-Tinah” villages in Midi as the Houthis shell their homes


Dozens of families in Midi district, Hajjah governorate in northwestern Yemen, were forced to flee their homes as a result of heavy shelling by Houthi militants on their areas.

According to a source from the villages of "Al- Tinah ", isolation of Bani Ati, who spoke to "Al-Masdar Online", all 74 residents of the villages of Al- Tinah left their homes after being subjected to unprecedented Houthi shelling, and were displaced to the areas of Hayran District and al-Ja'ada area of the same directorate.

The source added that the families fled to escape death and were unable to take anything from the houses they had left forced to walk and in mined areas, after the shelling intensified and the Houthis cut off the official road.

A number of camps and villages have already been shelled by the Houthis, which have killed dozens of civilians, including the targeting of the Shalila camp for displaced persons in Haradh district, which killed more than 15 displaced people, including four children, eight women and more than 30 wounded.
